In November, our GoBeauty team visited one of the biggest beauty fairs in the world Cosmoprof Asia! The 23rd edition of Cosmoprof Asia continued the successful formula of “1 Fair 2 Venues” and was held strategically across two venues. Special attention was drawn to the cosmetics supply chain: raw materials and ingredients, contract manufacturing and private label, machinery, primary and secondary packaging. Also, it hosted exhibitors of finished products ranging from cosmetics & toiletries, natural & organic, beauty salon, hair salon, nail and accessories.

We decided to tell you more about three main blocks of the fair: cosmetology and makeup, nails, hair.

Cosmetology and makeup

There were a wide range of cosmetology and makeup brands to meet your every need during the fair, for example: Abeauty, AFFECT, Bliss Naturals Bath and Beauty Ltd, BOOKKI, Bronx Colors Urban Cosmetics, Cailyn Cosmetics, Cala Products, Chantal, Christina, Coswell, EVELINE Cosmetics, Keepme Cosmetics Ltd, ORising, Pro-Vera, Sea of Spa, Stage Line Professional, Yonka and others.

We didn’t know where to look first at all the beauty around us. Walking around we saw a lot of master classes performed by the experienced makeup artists, models in unusual fashion looks, various cosmetology procedures to make your body look healthier and better, facial masks and, of course, bright stands with products. That was the real girls’ paradise! See for yourself.

   Nails products and accessories also became an integral part of the fair. Manicure and pedicure equipment, gel polishes, nail coatings and even innovative nail design printer – all these were presented in Hong Kong. In addition to buy materials, visitors could try products on the spot and get a manicure with a trendy design by professional nail artist.

On the last day of the fair, there was a Hong Kong Professional Nailist Union Competition 2018 Awards Ceremony, on which were more than 200 contestants from around the world.
It is difficult to list all the nail brands that were presented, their number reaches several hundred! But, here are some of them: GellyFit Professional, Bliss Naturals Bath and Beauty Ltd, Glamlac LLC, Kelly Professional Nail Co., Ltd, Kroxx Inc, Shine B, Bluesky.

   The last part of the exhibition was devoted to the hair. We saw a lot of different innovative products both in the fields of hair care cosmetics and hair styling equipment.

You might think that the fair is interesting only for women and girls, but you are mistaken! There were many stands dedicated to barber art.

In addition, the professionals held master classes in hair colouring and hairstyling, as well as nail and makeup artists, did. It was a pleasure to be present during such famous brands performance as Amika, BaByliss Pro, Beaver Cosmetics, Erayba Cosmetics S.A., Lush Hair, Maxell Ltd, Olivia Garden and others.

Special attention must be paid to the AI HairBot, engineered by Opal Cosmetics, that can give you a tailor-made and extraordinary hair care experience and hair analysis with a demonstration of how a specially formulated shampoo is produced! Our Marketing Director Gabriella tried it by herself and was pleased with the result.

In addition to cosmetic brands and master classes, live “bite-sized” seminars Cosmotalks – immersive learning experience filled with a range of innovative, creative and cutting-edge sessions delivered by leading industry experts, – were organized on the fair. Here, visitors could get useful and new information for themselves on a variety of topics including sustainability, industry research, market trends and sought-after topics to the beauty industry.

So, our team got a lot of pleasure from visiting Cosmoprof Asia 2018 in Hong Kong, learned a lot of interesting and new information, and also made sure that beauty exhibitions of such magnitude are must have to visit for those who are interested in the beauty industry.
