Scrambled eggs in the Mediterranean style

Eggs, butter, salt and pepper – the composition of the scramble does not differ. The main secret is in the method of cooking. We share a recipe for the simple, quick and delicious scrambled eggs of the world’s best chefs.

Ingredients:

Two large eggs

1/8 teaspoon of salt

1/2 tbsp of olive oil

A pinch of red pepper flakes

1/2 cup spinach leaves

Half a sun-dried tomato, finely chopped

1 tsp of finely chopped baked sweet pepper

1 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese + for serving

Ground black pepper

Chopped fresh parsley

Toasted bread for serving.

Preparation:

  1. Beat eggs and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a medium frying pan. Add hot red pepper and spinach and cook until the spinach is faded, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sun-dried tomatoes and bell peppers. Cook for another 30 seconds, stirring.
  4. Add the beaten eggs and fry, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat, add parmesan, stir and put on a plate. Sprinkle with ground pepper and parsley. Serve scrambled eggs with toast.

Banana toast for breakfast

Bananas are one of the best natural sweeteners for cocktails, smoothies, cereals, puddings, pancakes and other dishes. They are rich in calcium and magnesium, which means that the muscles, heart and nervous system will receive their nutrients. Ingredients:

Bread – 8 slices

Banana (ripe) – 2 

Milk – 0.5 tbsp

Chicken egg – 2 pcs

Egg yolk – 2 pcs

Brown sugar – 1 tbsp

Butter (for frying).

Preparation:

  1. Beat whole eggs in a bowl, add the egg yolk and beat until smooth.
  2. Add milk, mix thoroughly.
  3. Slices of bread pour with prepared sauce and fry in a pan greased with butter. 
  4. Ready toasts layout on a napkin.
  5. Peel bananas and slice it.
  6. Melt butter in a frying pan, add brown sugar and a little water, boil for a few minutes.
  7. Put sliced bananas, leave for another minute.
  8. Drizzle toast with banana sauce.

Belgian waffles with salmon

Waffles with salted salmon, lemon zest and parsley, prepared according to this recipe, have good taste and aroma, soft dough structure and perfect shape! These waffles are prepared quickly. It can be served instead of bread or used as a snack.

Ingredients:

Eggs 3 pcs.

Buttermilk 600 ml.

Olive oil 1/2 tbsp.

Flour 3/4 tbsp.

Buckwheat flour 3/4 tbsp.

Leavening agent 2 tsp.

Salt 1 tsp.

Chopped dill 2 tsp.

Sour cream 250 g.

Lemon peel 1 pc.

Juice of 1 lemon

Smoked salmon 250 g.

Arugula 100 g.

Preparation:

  1. Mix and whisk eggs, buttermilk and butter.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Then make a pile with a hole in the centre.
  3. Gradually, stirring constantly, pour the egg mixture into the recess and knead the dough.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron. Using a measuring cup, add the dough to the bottom surface and close the lid. Waffles will be ready in about 15 minutes.
  5. To prepare the sauce, mix and beat sour cream, dill, zest and lemon juice. 
  6. Serve waffles with a slice of salmon, drizzled with sauce and a handful of arugula salad.
